back to scoring goals......and taking wickets.
yes thats true....
i'm back to my goal scoring days....after a hugh gap of a huge 1440min (ie 1 day) i'm back.....yeaaaaaaa
did not score any goals in the most important and crucial game of the week. the sunday morning game with the univ united gang.
we played a great game but unfortunately non of us got on the score sheet and we lost the game 0 - 3.
damn that was bad. sam chavan handled his mid field to just about perfection and took the game away from us. well.........we'll get back. BACK WITH A BANG. and this time i'll score on sunday.
but it did turn out to be a good day for me as far as cricket is concerned. i batted really well. hit some huge sixes. (manan rathi is still quiet surprised by the six i hit of his bowling. dragged the ball from just outside the off stump and whacked it many a miles on the leg side. that felt good). and the i was back in form with my bowling. my record of gettin a wicket of the first ball of my spell is quiet good. this time getting dhiraj out caught behind.
and then the highlight of the day for me. getting 4 wickets in my last over. yes that is 4 wkts in 6 deliveries. wow. my best ever bowling performance. all thanx to 2 great catches by sam chavan and then one each by the keeper arvind and ________ (apologise for forgettin his name but shall fill in the blanks as soon as i can).
ROCKING.
well
that was just about it. its been 2 dayz since we played the great football game and the cricket match. and i'm already lookin fwd to the next sunday game.

and the air hockey champion is.........
totally forgot to mention this.
we played air hockey / space hockey or whatever u call it at Pancard yesterday.
first match:
Samir Mehta
vs
Prashant Bhandari
started off really well. no scores for quiet sometime. and then................... Prashant (thats me) got into form. blasted away a few goals in quick time taking the match away from Samir.
game ended at a score of "9 - 2"
second match:
Hamit Walia (u might know him as CHINKU)
vs
Prashant Bhandari
Chinku started the game with a very defenziv approach to the whole SEEN. but thats the biggest mistake u can make in any game (esp. if u playin against the CHAMP..hahhaaaa). Always remember AN ATTACK IS THE BEST FORM OF DEFENCE.
Prashant blasted away into the lead and scored some really cool goals.
With the score at 4-0, Chinku scored 2 quick goals and it looked as if we had a match. BUT NO. Prashant again started his attack and ended the game at a score of "9 - 2"
The last contestant Tuuuusssaaar chickened out and conceded defeat.
That ended the contest and all of us went and hogged on some yummy butter chicken and dahi...... ;-).

i've never had ne thing like that.
well, i heard about this GOLLI from my neighbour........MONU aka NIKHIL who had a nice and long story to tell us about this GOLLI thing.
i'm sure u must be wonderin (or maybe not...but then....whatever) what sorto story it must have bin, but HELL NO !! i'm not writin that here.
besides that, the day was quiet normal. tried to convince my cable dude to give us ten sports ASAP, but other people would rather watch alpha bengali/marathi/punjabi/mallu/madrasi etc etc so i dont think me callin up the cablewala was of any use.
so that means i dont get to watch the BRAZIL vs ARGENTINA world cup qualifier game thats happenin live. DAMN!!!!!!!!
the HSC results were declared today. Cheers to all those who've done well and cleared. (really dont know what to say to those who haven't so i'm keepin my mouth shut)

look out of your window.....its raining
amazing.................
the rain that we had today was really ROCKIN!!!!
played football in the evening and woooooooooohhh...that sure was fun.
well besides that, the day was pretty dull for me, but i'm sure SAM can write a lot about his day. he sure had one helllova day.
yesterday i saw YUVA. that is one really amazing movie. one of the best new hindi flicks i've seen. very very classy.
Jr AB is the dude. rest all are OK.
would have written a lot about the prev dayz football game but there are a few things that need not go down on paper and this was definately one of them.
tomm is sunday and i'm waitin for the early mornin game of football.
lets see how it goes.

finally i saw the movie "catch me if u can" and wow, what an amzing movie. really really cool. was neat. leo de cap & tom hanks. its one of those movies which has no hot lookin chicks in it and u still like the movie (tho there is jennifer garner and she looks GOOD). thanks to star movies i saw it otherwise i don't think i would have ever rented the VCD.
besides that, went to good old 1000 Oaks after a long time. the place is still as amazing as ever. good music, decent crowd, clothes smellin of smoke, people standin at the entrance spkn to someone on the cell phone for most of their stay there, some poor dude sittin at the dinner table with family gettin really embarrased. ha ha ha . ROCKING.......
and then after dat place shuttin down just when u strt gettin into the mood....hmmmmm.........(tho this time it was kinda without ne of the effects of booze)

porto win the champions league
that was quiet a nice game.... porto were definately the better team. beatin monaco 3-0 was quiet a fair result to the game.
was fun watchin the celebrations.
our big plan to watch the game together did not really work out with sam fallin asleep at home, akp being somewhr in the other end of the city and chinku being tired after watchin YUVA...hmmmm.
nuthin elz interstin happnd durin the day. was still thinkin of the rocking party we had last nite. was good fun.
the fact that i blogged today is also news that can be added to my blog....;)
and another good news for all man U fans. Alan Smith has just signed a 5 yr contract with the red devils...........ROCKING.

Smith won't rule out Old Trafford

Many felt that the lifelong Elland Road supporter would shy away from a switch across the Pennines to Old Trafford rather than risk upsetting The Whites' supporters who idolise him.
